LingoFlip ("we", "our", "the app") is a flashcard app for learning languages. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect an email address and a password (if you sign up with email), or basic profile information (name, email) if you sign up with Google or Apple Sign-In. We use Firebase Authentication to manage this data.

Usage data. We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views and app events (e.g. login, sign-up), to help us understand how the app is used and improve it. This data is not linked to advertising and is not used for tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

Game progress. Your flashcard practice progress is stored locally on your device and, where applicable, associated with your account so it can be resumed.

How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account.
• To let you resume practice sessions across app launches.
• To understand app usage and improve features (via aggregated analytics).
• To respond to support requests submitted through the in-app feedback form.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use the following third-party service providers, each of which processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Analytics) — https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Apple Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Apple.
• EmailJS — to deliver messages submitted through the in-app feedback form.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).

Children's Privacy

LingoFlip is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
